As the first round of the NBA Playoffs rolls on, many series are coming down to the wire with just one team - the New Orleans Pelicans - having advanced to the second round already. See which games are on the schedule for tonight and catch up on all the latest news & rumors from around the league in our NBA Daily:
Tonight's games:
(1) Houston Rockets at (8) Minnesota Timberwolves
8:00 p.m. ET, TNT - HOU leads 2-1
Houston won the first two games of the series before the Timberwolves rebounded and won Game 3 in Minnesota behind a good game from star center Karl-Anthony Towns. They will try to even the series against a top-seeded Rockets team that hasn't lost back-to-back games since Jan. 6. Expect this game to be close but for James Harden to be the difference maker in the fourth quarter. Rockets win 123-118.
(4) Oklahoma City Thunder at (5) Utah Jazz
10:30 p.m. ET, TNT - UTA leads 2-1
A triple-double from Ricky Rubio carried Utah to a comfortable Game 3 win and a surprising 2-1 series lead, causing Russell Westbrook to make some bold proclamations about shutting down Rubio in Game 4. The Thunder are the more talented team and, with renewed focus, I expect them to even the series. After all, this feels like it's going seven games, doesn't it? Thunder win 108-95.
