Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant announced that he will retire after the season.
New York Knicks guard Sasha Vujacic, a former teammate of Bryant's, said he wouldn't be surprised if Bryant came back after his retirement.
The Philadelphia 76ers fell to 0-18 with their loss to the Grizzlies on Sunday, matching the 2009-10 Nets for the worst start in NBA history.
76ers center Jahlil Okafor was pulled over for driving 108 MPH over a bridge.
Golden State Warriors forward Harrison Barnes will miss at least three games with a sprained ankle.
Miami Heat forwards Luol Deng and Amare Stoudemire will miss tonight's game against the Celtics with injuries.

One of the marquee matchups of the day pits two 11-win teams against each other. Oklahoma City has won four in a row thanks to the return of Kevin Durant, while Atlanta has lost six of their last nine games.
San Antonio Spurs at Chicago Bulls - 8:00 pm ET (NBATV)
In the biggest matchup of the day, the Spurs are looking to improve on the second-best start in the NBA (14-3) to keep pace with the Warriors, while Chicago has lost two of their last three games, shooting just 37.6 percent during that stretch.
Denver Nuggets at Milwaukee Bucks - 8:00 pm ET
Both the Nuggets and Bucks will be trying to break out of long slumps in this one. Milwaukee has lost six of their last seven games while Denver has lost six in a row and seven of their last eight.
Golden State Warriors at Utah Jazz - 9:00 pm ET
Golden State is looking to extend their historic start to 19-0 against the Jazz, kicking off a seven-game road trip for the Warriors.
Dallas Mavericks at Sacramento Kings - 10:00 pm ET
Kings point guard Rajon Rondo will face the Mavs for the first time since leaving the team in the offseason, highlighting a matchup between a struggling Sacramento team (6-12) and a solid Dallas team (10-7).
Portland Trail Blazers at Los Angeles Clippers - 10:30 pm ET
Both teams are surging of late, winning three of their last four games. The Blazers beat the Clippers 102-91 in their first matchup of the season on Nov. 20.
