The Los Angeles Lakers are going into the offseason with one of the best situations in the NBA with LeBron James at the helm of a championship contender, and a good possibility that Anthony Davis will re-sign with the team. However, the Lakers are not done looking at new opportunities to bolster their roster. While free agency is always a good place to start for building the Lakers’ roster, the offseason trade market may be the place to start.

Myles Turner of the Indiana Pacers has turned into one of the best shot blockers in the NBA over the course of his young career, but could he be on the move? Bleacher Report kicked around a trade idea that would send Myles Turner to the Los Angeles Lakers in exchange for Danny Green and Kyle Kuzma going to the Indiana Pacers. Turner would be the immediate starting center for the Lakers to go in the frontcourt with Anthony Davis. This would also take some pressure off of the Lakers to re-sign one of their current centers in JaVale McGee or Dwight Howard.
Fansided had a trade idea that would land the Los Angeles Lakers one of the best young scorers in the league in Zach LaVine of the Chicago Bulls. LaVine’s game has taken a huge step forward since being traded from the Minnesota Timberwolves. Zach LaVine would be able to step in as the third option with the Los Angeles Lakers right away and hopefully develop into a tertiary star alongside Anthony Davis and LeBron James. In Fansided’s trade scenario, Zach LaVine would be sent to the Los Angeles Lakers in exchange for Danny Green and Kyle Kuzma. Without any real draft picks to trade, this one might be hard to get done.

The final trade discussed into today’s video sends Shake Milton and Josh Richardson, both of the Philadelphia 76ers, to the Los Angeles Lakers for Danny Green. Both Josh Richardson and Shake Milton are young guards that would help form a much deeper team in Los Angeles. But would the Philadelphia 76ers really be intrigued enough by just Danny Green to give up two pieces of their young core? Josh Richardson would be an athletic upgrade over Danny Green, although he is not as good of a shooter. Shake Milton, when healthy, can be a valuable 6th man or starting point guard.
