The NBA Finals are over, the Cleveland Cavaliers are champions and the focus is now on the offseason. The rapidly-approaching NBA Draft is Thursday and that's the priority for the NBA. However, the league is also preparing for when free agency starts on July 1. Was Stephen Curry Healthy?
The Warriors came up short in the NBA Finals, and there were multiple reports that Stephen Curry was not 100 percent and might even need surgery this offseason. Curry addressed those injury rumors with reporters today.
Stephen Curry said he doesn't plan any offseason surgeries on his ankle, knee, elbow, etc. Just rest and rehab.

Curry did say he wasn't 100 percent, but didn't use that as an excuse. He told the San Francisco Chronicle he expects to be ready to start his offseason workout schedule in two or three weeks.
Pistons Working Out Players
The Detroit Pistons hold the No. 18 overall pick in this year's draft, and they're still working out players in the final days leading up to Thursday's draft.

Zubac is the only likely first round player on that list. He picked the Pistons for another workout because of the interest they showed in him, and he's a potential Top 25 pick this year.
Pelicans Draft Plans?
The Pelicans hold the No. 6, No. 39 and No. 40 overall picks in this year's draft. And there's one area in particular the team wants to upgrade.
Demps said he's targeting players this offseason that will "impact our defense." Pelicans were 29th in defense last season.

There's a clear top six players after Ben Simmons and Brandon Ingram this year. Forwards Dragan Bender, Marquese Chriss and Jaylen Brown or guards Kris Dunn, Jamal Murray and Buddy Hield could be the selection for the Pelicans at No. 6. At least three of those players will be on the board for the Pelicans.
