Kyrie Irving is set to be an NBA Free Agent this offseason and multiple NBA teams will attempt to sign him away from the Boston Celtics. And the Kyrie Irving rumors are flying, because it appears there’s a very good chance that Irving does leave Boston this offseason. But which team lands him? There appear to be four top destinations (outside of Boston): the Brooklyn Nets, the New York Knicks, the Los Angeles Clippers and the Los Angeles Lakers.
Kyrie Irving’s Free Agency landing spot is far from set in stone and there are multiple teams in the mix to land him. Irving has been linked heavily to a pair for New York teams in the Nets and the Knicks, both of whom have two max contract spots to land Irving and another star (Kevin Durant? Kawhi Leonard?).

And there’s a pair of Los Angeles teams after Irving in the Clippers and the Lakers. Going to the Clippers would allow him to be “the guy” in a massive market. But the Lakers and LeBron James really are a threat after all, as LeBron & Irving have reconciled after a bad ending in Cleveland.
The Celtics can’t be counted out either, despite a disappointing year and apparent locker room issues. They traded for Irving, want him back and can offer him the most money. Of course, it’s up to Irving, not Boston.
