Back in 2013, Kobe had a discussion with Jimmy Kimmel and he told Kimmel that he would have gone to North Carolina. The urban legend was that Kobe would have played for Duke and Coach K, but he said, he was leaning toward North Carolina. "I love [Duke Coach Mike Krzyzewski]," "The truth has to come out."
Kimmel asked Bryant, Why North Carolina? Vince Carter, a Tar Heel, was one of the top guards in the country at the time. "I want to play against him, every single day," Bryant said.
This rumor has been laid to rest for a few years but it has surfaced again after Bryant went to Twitter. He was asked if he were to go to college which school would he choose.
