The Cleveland Cavaliers continue to shop PG Kyrie Irving and they're currently engaged with the Boston Celtics on a potential trade. In addition to Irving, the talks also include Celtics PG Isaiah Thomas.
Cleveland and Boston engaged in active trade discussions centered on Kyrie Irving and Isaiah Thomas, league sources tell The Vertical.

In fact, it appears the deal is getting closer to happening.

Including Crowder would balance out the salary cap requirements, if Irving waives his trade kicker. If that doesn't happen, the Celtics would need to include more. Wojnarowski also mentioned that Ante Zizic would be included, giving the Cavs a younger piece.
One player the Cavs would likely also have interest in is Jayson Tatum, the Celtics' first round draft pick this year. The Cavs have already been linked to Tatum. A draft pick or two (Boston has plenty) could also be included.
