Looks like our nightmare only lasted a few hours. Moving right along, then.
After years of rumors, it's finally happening: Space Jam 2, starring LeBron James, is officially in the works.
According to Deadline.com, Charlie and Willie Ebersol have come together to produce the vehicle for James. The sons of broadcasting legend Dick Ebersol have struck out on their own, and Space Jam 2 will be their first combined venture. Charlie, who has worked with the NFL on the NFL Characters Unite series, will produce, while Willie will write the script.
The beloved original, starring Michael Jordan, grossed $230 million worldwide.
