Ray Allen has been contemplating whether he wants to retire or return to the NBA since the end of last season, and he appears ready to wait a few more months before making that decision, according to ESPN's Ryen Russillo.
Hearing Ray Allen is telling teams "talk to me in January" will make a decision in February. Cavs still the favorite.

The 39-year-old Allen averaged 9.6 ppg and 2.8 ppg last year for the Miami Heat, and was a key cog of their 2013 championship team.
If he does return, he will most likely end up on the Cavs. Before the season started, there were reports that Allen was either coming to Cleveland or retiring. However, the Spurs, Thunder, Clippers, and Bulls are all now in the mix.
