They say good things come in small packages. That is certainly the case with Navy women's lacrosse player Morgan Young, who packs a powerhouse of talent into a tiny frame.
Young stands just 5-foot-1, but has never allowed lack of size to hold her back on the lacrosse field. Navy head coach Cindy Timchal used the term "hard-charging" several times when talking about the senior attacker, who has a well-earned reputation for driving headlong into the teeth of the defense.
"We just loved Morgan from the moment we saw her. She's small, but has a huge heart and plays with great toughness," Timchal said.
