BLACKSBURG, Va. – Junior attacker Morgan Young recorded a career-high five points on four goals and one assist to lead the Navy women's lacrosse team past Virginia Tech, 12-6, Friday at Virginia Tech Indoor Practice Facility.
"I was pleased to see our young team be very resilient against a good ACC team in Virginia Tech and capture a solid road win," Navy coach Cindy Timchal said. "There are certain things that we definitely need to clean up, but overall I am proud of the way we started off."
Young tied her career-high in goals with a game-high four.
