Towson faceoff specialist Alex Woodall was named men’s lacrosse Co-Player of the Week in the America East Conference.
Woodall, a senior out of St. Mary’s High, dominated the faceoff stripe in Towson’s 14-7 win at Fairfield, going 22-for-25 — his best winning percentage (88.0) of the season.
Facing off against five different Stags in the game, Woodall collected 16 ground balls and adding a pair of assists. He now has 538 faceoff wins in his career, ranking sixth in CAA history.
