Michael and Patrick McGuire were in heaven on Friday morning.
School was out due to parent-teacher conferences so the 8-year-old twins were watching their favorite National Hockey League team practice instead of sitting in a classroom.
“This is pretty darn spectacular,” said their mother, Audrey McGuire. “School’s out and I didn’t have to meet with teachers because their grades are up so here we are.”
The McGuire boys have been raised as Toronto Maple Leafs fans even though they have spent all of their young lives in Annapolis. That’s because their father, Mike McGuire, is a Toronto native.
