Due largely to concern about not receiving her preferred service assignment, women’s basketball player Kaila Clark has decided to transfer from the Naval Academy.
Clark is transferring to the University of Richmond and will have two seasons of eligibility after sitting out 2018-2019 according to NCAA rules. The Archbishop Spalding product is completing the spring semester at the Naval Academy and will enroll at Richmond for summer school, according to her father.
Arthur Clark told The Capital his daughter had dreamed of flying after graduating from the academy and recently learned that service path was not likely to happen.
