Navy football embarks on what head coach Ken Niumatalolo described as the "backstretch of the season" this Saturday against visiting Tulane on Homecoming in Annapolis.
Coming off a bye this past Saturday, Navy now faces six straight American Athletic Conference contests. If the Midshipmen make the conference championship scheduled for Dec. 5, they will not get a week off until after the Dec. 12 showdown against archrival Army.
"The bye came at a good time for our program. We had just played three straight very physical games and our players were a bit banged up," Niumatalolo said.
