Niumatalolo has spent the past two weeks in Hawaii visiting family. He was slated to attend the American Football Coaches Association annual convention this past week, but did make it.
Niumatalolo was a finalist for the AFCA Coach of the Year award, which was announced on Tuesday. Sources told The Capital that Niumatalolo did not arrive in Nashville as planned.
