Senior forward Eleanor Pratt’s first-half goal off a penalty kick gave Navy everything it needed to glide to a 1-0 victory over Pacific on a muggy Sunday afternoon at Glenn Warner Soccer Facility, the second of an opening four-game home set.
For a team predicted to capture the Patriot League crown, the win balanced the scale for the Mids (1-1) after Thursday’s hairline 2-1 loss to North Carolina State.
“One game at a time. Today is great. We're happy, we're done, we pride ourselves on preparing for each game individually and each game is an important entity,” Navy coach Carin Gabarra said.
