Navy's Swain lives up to wow factor

Editor's Note: This is part of a week-long series profiling a handful of Navy's top seniors leading up to Saturday's 116th Army-Navy game.

Chris Swain has been an impressive physical specimen since the day he arrived in Annapolis. When Navy football coaches saw Swain's rare combination of size, speed and power, they knew he could be a special fullback.

Toward the end of Swain's plebe season, fullbacks coach Mike Judge thought the youngster had learned the assignments well enough to play in games.

Swain saw his most significant action as a freshman in the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl against Arizona State, and what he did that day in San Francisco was both eye-opening and exciting.
