It didn't take long for Navy quarterback Keenan Reynolds to break the NCAA record for rushing touchdowns.
Reynolds capped Navy's opening possession with a 4-yard scoring scamper, following fullback Chris Swain into the hole then falling into the end zone.
It was the 78th rushing touchdown in the illustrious career of Reynolds, a senior from Antioch, Tennessee. Reynolds entered the game tied atop the all-time chart with former Wisconsin tailback Montee Ball.
Reynolds took a knee and bowed his head in the end zone immediately after setting the new standard. He was then mobbed by teammates, who offered congratulatory hugs or pats on the helmet.
