The Navy women's lacrosse team cruised to a 17-5 win over Villanova on Wednesday at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium.
Junior Julia Collins helped lead the Mids as she filled the stat sheet with eight points on three goals and five assists, five draw controls, five ground balls and two caused turnovers. Julia's twin-sister Jenna, also had a stat-sheet stuffing performance, recording seven points on a career-best six goals and one assist, four draw controls, three caused turnovers and two ground balls.
"This game was a good opportunity for our team to bounce back from a tough Duke loss and I think we did that and I am proud of the way we did it," Navy head coach Cindy Timchal said.
