Senior guard Taylor Dunham scored 17 points, grabbed four rebounds, handed out four assists and came up with two steals to lead Navy to a 59-48 victory over Boston in front of 881 fans on Senior Night at Alumni Hall.
The win was Navy’s 16th-straight at home, which ties the school record and is the sixth longest active streak in the country.
“I’m really happy to get this win for the seniors,” said Navy head coach Stefanie Pemper. “Our defense had to be pretty good to hold them to 48 points. I thought we forced a good number of their turnovers”
Navy’s defense was in fact outstanding.
