The Navy women’s basketball team put together another impressive showing Sunday for another blowout victory, downing Division III Emory and Henry, 88-57, at Alumni Hall.
It was the squad’s eighth straight victory to open the season, the longest such streak since the 1995-96 team started 11-0.
The scoring output was the Mids’ of the season, and Navy has won its last three games by a combined 93 points.
“We had a feeling this wasn’t going to be as hard as (some other games) but, frankly, we have played pretty well in some of these non-conference games,” said Navy head coach Stefanie Pemper.
