It wouldn't be accurate to call the Navy women's basketball team "streaky" Saturday night, when those streaks can be called just "first half" and "second half."
After opening up a giant first-half lead on the league-leading Bucknell Bison, the Midshipmen's shooting prowess disappeared in the second half and they couldn't prevent a comeback and a Bucknell 63-54 win.
Navy (20-8, 13-4 Patriot) is locked into the second seed in next month's Patriot League Tournament as a result of the loss. Bucknell (23-5, 15-2 Patriot) won the regular season title, which gives them the top seed and home-court advantage in the tournament.
