NAVY VOLLEYBALL: Navy head coach Larry Bock was selected as the Patriot League Coach of the Year, Patricia Mattingly earned her second-straight league setter-of-the-year award, and Mattingly and Tara Dotzauer received first-team all-league honors, the league announced on Tuesday. In addition, junior Katie Patrick was a second-team all-league selection.
Mattingly led all setters in the league during this year’s league campaign with both 622 assists and an average of 10.37 assists per set. Her overall total of 1,023 assists ranks second in the league and 84th nationally, and she ranks second in the league with an overall average of 9.
