NAVY SWIMMING: One week after Navy placed first and Army second in both the men’s and women’s standings at the Patriot League Championship, those same teams finished in the same order after the conclusion of the ECAC Championship that concluded Sunday in Annapolis.
The Navy women’s team totaled 762.50 points to outdistance second-place Army by 88.5 points to win the program’s third ECAC title in a row and its fifth in the last eight years.
Navy’s men’s team accrued 754.5 points to defeat second-place Army by 141 points. The Navy men have now won the ECAC meet in each of the last six years and 11 times in the last 12 seasons.
