Navy must replace four starters along the offensive line and that process began with spring camp, which concluded with one last intra-squad scrimmage on Saturday.
Tackles Jake Hawk and Andrew Wood along with guards Laurent Njiki and Chris Gesell will be graduating in May. However, offensive line coach Ashley Ingram said those losses do not mean the Midshipmen are starting over from scratch.
“I think we have a chance to be really good. I don’t see it as a rebuilding year whatsoever. I think we’re going to be ready to roll from Game 1,” said Ingram, who also holds the title of running game coordinator.
