Navy junior attacker Kelly Larkin admitted during the preseason that she is in a development stage, taking on a new role for the Midshipmen this year.
While the leading scorer for Navy a year ago adjusts, there will be others that need to step up and make up for the 117 points (62 goals, 55 assists) Larkin accumulated in 2018.
Cue junior midfielders Kayla Harris and Annalise Heyward.
Harris accounted for three goals, including the game-winner, and also totaled a team-high six draw controls and four ground balls in Navy’s 12-11, come-from-behind victory over St. Joseph’s on Sunday.
