Keenan Reynolds, Navy’s star quarterback, will attend President Obama’s final State of the Union Address Tuesday night, the Navy Athletics office said.
Reynolds led the Midshipmen to a record 11 wins in 2015 and set four NCAA records - career touchdowns, career rushing touchdowns, career rushing yards by a quarterback and total points scored.
He finished fifth in the 2015 Heisman Trophy balloting.
Reynolds will be the guest of his home state Congressman Jim Cooper, D-Tennessee.
Naval Academy sources said there also will be a second midshipmen attending the State of the Union, but the name of that midshipmen hasn't been confirmed.
