Navy women's lacrosse put together one of the most complete performances in program history this past Sunday in upsetting top-seeded Loyola in the Patriot League Tournament championship game.
The Midshipmen will need to play as well or better in order to spring another upset in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
Navy (15-4) travels to Philadelphia on Friday to take on seventh-seeded Pennsylvania at Dunning-Cohen Champions Field. It is the fifth NCAA playoff appearance for the Midshipmen, who have won a pair of play-in games, but are 0-4 in the first round.
