NAVY MEN’S SOCCER: Freshman forward Nick Dimitrijevic scored three goals, including the game-winner in the 93rd minute, to lead American (2-8-1, 1-2-0 PL) past Navy (2-8-1, 0-2-1 PL) in overtime, 3-2, in a Patriot League men’s soccer match at Reeves Field on Wednesday.
Trailing 1-0, Navy tied the game in the 56th minute on a goal by senior midfielder Aubrey Jones off an assist by junior TJ Powers. Five minutes after Jones’ goal, Dmitrijevic scored his second of the game to put American ahead, 2-1.
Just four minutes after that goal, Navy freshman Wyatt Millard scored his first collegiate goal to even the game at 2-2.
