Navy's men's basketball team posted its first victory of the season, building a big first-half lead en route to a 67-55 victory at South Carolina Upstate on Thursday night.
The Mids (1-2) races to a 34-19 lead in the first half with a dominant defensive performance.
Shawn Anderson led Navy with 18 points, six rebounds and five assists, while Tilman Dunbar contributed 11 points and three assists. Jace Hogan joined them in double-figure scoring with 10 points and five rebounds. Will Kelly added nine points and Bryce Dulin scored eight in a balanced attack.
Kelly also had five blocks and five rebounds and Kendall Knorr had seven rebounds for the Mids.
