Navy men’s basketball stayed perfect in Patriot League play and defeated host Lehigh, 69-61, Saturday afternoon.
John Carter Jr. led the Mids (6-1 overall, 3-0) with 18 points and made all four of the team’s 3-pointers on seven attempts. Cam Davis, Richard Njoku and Jaylen Walker each had 10 points to pace Navy, which improved to 3-0 in Patriot League play for the third time in program history and first time since 1997-98.
“It is a team sport and we like to be able to share the basketball. That’s who we are. We are a very unselfish team,” said Mids coach Ed DeChellis.
