A host of new faces dot the roster for the Navy men’s soccer team. Ten freshmen, along with nine sophomores, comprise a strong majority of the team in coach Tim O’Donohue’s second season.
“We are going to be an inexperienced team overall, but we have a lot of talent and the guys that returned battled in every game last year,” O’Donohue said.
Navy returns nine starters from last year’s team that went 5-9-4 overall and 1-6-2 in the Patriot League. That record is somewhat misleading, however, as the Mids went 4-8 in one-goal games, and conceded just 20 goals in 18 games overall.
