Newly-hired Arizona State head coach Herm Edwards has shown quickly that he has a real eye for talent.
Edwards announced on Sunday that he has hired Shaun Nua as an assistant coach, luring him away from the Naval Academy. Nua will coach defensive line for the Sun Devils, the same position he held with the Midshipmen.
“Shaun Nua is a well-respected and talented young coach with a bright future ahead of him,” Edwards said in a statement. “He is known for the high energy he brings while coaching his players and also for being an incredibly caring and compassionate person off the field.
