Lafayette made history on Saturday when it became the first 10th seed – men or women – to win a game in the Patriot League Tournament.
The Leopards will be looking to pull off an even more surprising upset when they travel to Annapolis on Monday.
Head coach Stefanie Pemper wasn't stunned to learn that second-seeded Navy (21-8, 14-4) will be hosting Lafayette (4-27, 2-16) in the quarterfinals of the Patriot League Tournament. Pemper knew the Leopards were capable despite their dismal record.
"Lafayette has some talented players and has shown potential at times this season," Pemper said.
