With three returning starters and an experienced senior moving into the lineup, the secondary figures to be a strength of the Navy defense this season.
Brendon Clements is entering his third season as the starter at left cornerback and is well on the way to going down as one of the best players Navy's had at the position. Clements was outstanding in 2014, but may have been outplayed by right cornerback Quincy Adams, who was rock-solid from start to finish.
Kwazel Bertrand made nine straight starts last season and performed well until he was slowed by a leg injury over the final four games.
