Coach Ken Niumatalolo and offensive coordinator Ivin Jasper had planned to settle on a starter by mid-week so that quarterback could take the majority of repetitions during Thursday’s practice. But with Saturday’s road game against South Florida now canceled, the coaching staff has another week before having to make a decision.
Navy on Tuesday held its first full contact practice since pausing football activities in the wake of positive COVID-19 results emanating from testing conducted Nov. 2. Jasper said Dalen Morris and Tyger Goslin would receive equal repetitions with the starting offense.
“We’re just rotating them and letting them both run with the ones,” Jasper said Tuesday.
