Navy arrives in Fort Worth, begins prep for Armed Forces Bowl

For the Navy football team, the road to redemption begins at 901 Wildcat Way.

That is the address of Kennedale High, where the Midshipmen are practicing in preparation for Friday's Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl.

Navy has suffered consecutive losses for the first time this season, getting thumped by Temple, 34-10, in the American Athletic Conference championship game on Dec. 3 then being beaten by archrival Army, 21-17, one week later. The Midshipmen do not want to close out an otherwise positive campaign on a three-game losing streak.

"Winning the last game of the season and rolling into next year is important for the entire program as far as atmosphere," Navy slotback Dishan Romine said.
