Military Bowl Breakdown: A look inside the Navy-Virginia match-up

Navy Key: Put Up Points

Navy has really struggled on offense down the stretch, scoring just 44 points over the past three games (17 against Notre Dame, 14 on Houston and 13 versus Army). That marks the fewest points in a three-game span since 2006 when Navy managed only 38 against Air Force, Rutgers and Notre Dame. The Midshipmen desperately need a breakout performance and hope newly-installed starting quarterback Malcolm Perry can deliver it. Offensive coordinator Ivin Jasper believes the sophomore sensation can open things up for the other skill position players by drawing defensive attention.
