Navy women's lacrosse has been a model of consistency ever since Cindy Timchal took over as head coach and led the program's transition from club status to Division I. The Midshipmen have won 13 games or more for nine straight seasons and boast an impressive 137-38 overall record.
Navy became the dominant program in the Patriot League three years into Timchal's tenure, capturing four consecutive championships to earn automatic berths in the NCAA Tournament. That changed when Loyola, an established program with a long history of success, joined the conference in 2014.
