Colgate held off a late Navy comeback for a 55-52 win at Cotterell Court on Saturday afternoon. Navy rallied from a 13-point deficit and had two chances to take the lead in the final 13 seconds and a 3-pointer to send the game to overtime at the buzzer, but missed each opportunity. The loss snapped Navy's eight-game winning streak.
"We were down and we kept fighting and fighting and we clawed our way back to a one-point game," said Navy head coach Ed DeChellis. "We had our chances to win the game, we just didn't. I'm proud of our kids.
