LEWISBURG, Pa. – A balanced offensive attack helped the Navy women's lacrosse team defeat Bucknell, 11-10, on Saturday. With the win and a Colgate victory over Lehigh, the Mids clinched the second seed in the Patriot League tournament.
Navy (11-5, 6-2 Patriot League) will compete in the league tournament for the ninth consecutive time overall and play as the second seed for the third time in program history.
The Mids tallied six different goal scorers with sophomore Jenna Collins leading the way with a team-high five points (two goals, three assists). Twin sister Julia Collins recorded four points on two goals and two assists along with a game-high eight draw controls.
