In hindsight, it would seem the turnaround of Navy men’s lacrosse began in the summer of 2013.
On a hot day in late July, a large contingent of lacrosse recruits got together inside Building No. 1801 on the campus of the Naval Academy Prep School for an introductory meeting with the coaching staff.
“It was the day before we started taking classes and we were all in the 1801 up there, kind of meeting each other for the first time and finding out where everyone was from,” attackman Jack Ray recalled.
“I remember that first day just like it was yesterday.
