BALTIMORE -- George Kiernan scored 17 points, Tom Lacey and Bryce Dulin added 13 apiece, and Navy beat winless Coppin State 70-53 on Wednesday night to win its fourth straight.
Hasan Abdullah added 10 points with four assists and six steals for the Midshipmen (8-3), who shot 51.9 percent from the floor to the Eagles' 33.3 percent.
Coppin State scored three straight 3s in a 12-0 run and trailed 42-29 early in the second half. Navy replied with an 8-0 run in which Lacey made back-to-back layups, and the Midshipmen led by 22 and were never threatened.
