Senior captain Julia Collins tallied a career high 10 points, recording a game-high five goals and a career-best five assists to lift the Navy women’s lacrosse team to an 18-5 victory over Bucknell on Saturday afternoon at Graham Field at Holmes Stadium.
“We had a good game today and we came out strong,” head coach Cindy Timchal said. “I am proud of the players. We stepped it up on the offensive end, which I was proud of. We wanted to have more integrity on the defensive end and I feel like we accomplished that today. I thought we did a good job of preparing for Bucknell’s field which is used for both lacrosse and field hockey.
