Junior guard Jennifer Coleman posted a double-double with 21 points and 14 rebounds to lead the Navy women’s basketball team past archrival Army, 63-49, at Christl Arena on the campus of West Point.
Coleman also swiped four steals and dished off three assists in a superb all-around performance for the visiting Midshipmen, who led by as much as 26 points in the fourth quarter.
“Jen Coleman was pretty special today. She played under control and set the tempo from the beginning of the game,” Navy first-year coach Tim Taylor said. “We also executed our offense and hit some clutch threes.
