Navy head coach Ken Niumatalolo did his best Bill Belichick impression at the close of his post-game press conference on Friday afternoon.
That’s not surprising considering the two coaches have developed a friendship and Niumatalolo has patterned much of what he does with the Midshipmen after how Belichick runs the New England Patriots.
So it was rather amusing to hear Niumatalolo basically say: “We’re moving on to Army.”
Belichick’s famous “We’re on to Cincinnati” press conference came one day after New England had been blown out by the Kansas City Chiefs.
