Left fielder Bill Schlich went 3-for-4 with an RBI and run scored to lead Holy Cross to a 3-2 victory over Navy in the second game of the Patriot League baseball championship series.
A large crowd showed up at Max Bishop Stadium in Annapolis hoping freshman pitcher Noah Song could shut down the Crusaders and give the Midshipmen a sweep of the three-game set. However, Song did not have his best stuff and gave up three runs on six hits and two walks through two-plus innings.
Song was lifted after failing to get an out in the third inning and giving up two runs.
