Reppert was hired away from the University of Maryland, where he served as offensive coordinator under coach John Tillman for six years. He helped the Terrapins reach the NCAA semifinals four times and capture the national championship in 2017.
“J.L. Reppert has been one of the top assistant lacrosse coaches in the country,” Holy Cross athletic director Marcus Blossom wrote in a news release issued by the Patriot League school. “He’s also a high-character individual with a tremendous passion for the game of lacrosse and, most importantly, the personal development of student-athletes.”
At Maryland, Reppert oversaw a high-powered offense that ranked top 20 in scoring each of the last four seasons.
