When the Boston Red Sox traded prospects Yoan Moncada, Michael Kopech, Luis Alexander Basabe and Victor Diaz to the Chicago White Sox for ace Chris Sale earlier this month, the team was immediately regarded as favorites to win the American League and play for its fourth World Series title in 15 years. Brandon Agamennone, a former standout pitcher at Arundel and the University of Maryland, is now tasked with replenishing that system with new prospects.
